Junior School

Comprising four years, from Years 7 through to 10, the Corpus Christi learning experience in junior school is both unique and innovative. The driving force behind this innovation is the CLE structure.

Students in Years 7-10 engage in the NSW Board of Studies syllabus content through integrated units of work called Connected Learning Experiences.

Additionally, in Stage 4 students explore practical subjects such as TAS, Music, Visual Art and PDHPE in project sessions. Students in Years 7 and 8 also attend a Learning to Learn session where specific skills are further developed.

In Stage 5, students have the opportunity to take elective courses in addition to mandatory classes. These electives are offered each year to match the preferences of each cohort, and may include courses such as Marine Studies, Commerce, Food Technology and Industrial Technology - Timber.

In Stage 4 and 5 students interact with Religious Education through CLEs whilst Mathematics is taught as stand alone focused learning sessions.
