Technology

The future of the world and of the church belongs to the younger generation, ...... Thus, the Catholic school should be able to offer young people the means to acquire the knowledge they need in order to find a place in a society which is strongly characterised by technical and scientific skill. (The Catholic School on the Threshold of the Third Millennium, n8.)

The Corpus Christi school community strives to serve the contemporary needs of young people in an authentic way. The focus on the integration of technology across all stages of learning at Corpus Christi ensures that students have the opportunity to become competent, discriminating and creative users of a range of technologies and digital tools.

They need opportunities to play, learn, create and produce using a range of technologies from the early years and to be able to pursue a continuum of technologies, learning through to the senior secondary years.

Corpus Christi Catholic High School is a technology rich school, which integrates technology into all aspects of learning and teaching. Our students use technology as an important tool for learning and to meet this need, Corpus Christi, in partnership with parent/carers, implements a 1:1 learning technologies environment where each student has access to an Apple Macbook Pro or Macbook Air to use at school and at home, enabling communication and collaboration among peers and Learning Advisors and connecting parent/carers to their children's learning.
