Corpus Christi Day

Our school was established in the year of the Eucharist with its official opening and blessing occurring during the week of Corpus Christi.  We mark this day each year as Corpus Christi day and as a day of celebration for the school community.

The day begins with the celebration of the Eucharist for staff, students and their families.  Proceeding this, senior students organise and run various activities for Stage four students. The stage five and six students participate in various community volunteer initiatives such as support to childcare centres, old age facilities and landcare projects.

The day culminates in the famous ‘Corpus Has Talent’ event where staff and students showcase their abilities as a means to solidify community spirit and strengthen the essence of who we are as a school community: Abiding in Christ, bearing fruit as branches of Christ’s vine and developing our Eucharistic imagination with which to transform our world.
