Post School Pathways

Post School Pathways

Corpus Christi is committed to maximising student learning outcomes and life opportunities by offering a range of post-school pathways. These include Vocational Education and Training Courses delivered internally and externally (VET and EVET), Work Experience, and School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs).

In 2021 students in Year 7 and 10 will take part in a Transition and Pathway Program. CEDoW has developed contemporary and engaging career education opportunities that will equip young people for a constantly changing world of work.

Statistics show that the majority of students will have at least 17 different jobs over five careers in one lifetime. Career education is the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes through a planned program of learning experiences to assist students to make well-informed decisions about future study and/or work options.

We want students to have the skills, knowledge and motivation to manage their own career pathways.

The Transition and Pathways Specialist (TaPS) offers career counselling and guidance, disseminating a wide range of current information and resources through email, Google classroom and face to face.
